Fetta's Greek Taverna in Grafton Street is owned and run by the Karagiannis family who started in the restaurant trade in 1975 with Mykonos Taverna in Melbourne. Mykonos went on to become the icon of Greek cuisine; to be followed by Ouzos Taverna & The Greek Spot. This was followed some years later with a move to Perth, where George and Helen opened The Greek Taverna and Fetta's Taverna in Northbridge introducing the authentic greek cuisine in West Australia. But the allure of North Queensland was soon to draw the Karagiannis family to Cairns bringing with them a taste of Greek cuisine. The current Fetta's Taverna kitchen is run by Greek chefs and the 'Master of Cuisine' George, who as host of the restaurant always encourages a little bit of Zorba music and dancing to fully appreciate Greek fun and wellbeing.
LUNCH: Monday to Friday from 11.30am
DINNER: Every evening from 5.30pm until late
